The gîte is pleasant and spacious, it comprises a large veranda upstairs with a unimpeded sight on Jura mountains. It's the ideal place to spend a few days or more in the mountains to discover gastronomic specialities (Comté, bleu de Gex...) and the multiple sportsactivities in a quiet village.
Many hike itineraries (GR9, Grande Traversée du Jura...) will enable you to escape by rambling and discover flora and fauna of this area.

Gelinotte is the French name for ruffed grouse. The ruffed grouse lives in Jura, it's a little forest domestic fowl of 35cm a little crested and with a tail rather long. It nests on the ground in the undergrowth. |
